| - - Well, The Fallen Eyes Club, quite possibly the coolest venue to EVER
exist in Ohio, has been shut down. It was a place run by kids
like you and I solely for the purpose of supporting the scene, without
the familiar shit that is tacked on when going to a show at any other
average venue, such as dealing with drunk ass people, and having to pay
underage fees, shit like that. Dude this place was sooo cool, and
if you're from Ohio and are somewhat connected to it's scene, you've
probably heard about how fucking rad fallen eyes was. The reason
Fallen Eyes was shut down was because kids had vandalized and the
neighboring businesses and cars of neighboring business in the parking
lots.
It disgusts me that kids, didn't appreciate this venue enough to do
their part in keeping it running... Come to the shows, and
RESPECT the venue and people. Nick and the rest of the staff, put
sooo much time, effort, money and most importantly, love, into this
place! I could feel it, like it was home first time I walked in
the door! And people shit on that, it fucking kills me, how,
people just completely don't care! How could someone not see the
repercussions of trashing businesses and cars that surround an
independent venue??? All it did was make some GREAT people who
cared about music and cared about bringing great bands to play in a
positive enviroment look like shit. Way to drag hardworking
respectful people through the mud with your immaturity. By the
way, thanks for pulling everyones sterotypical expectations of all kids
being disrespectful fuck ups up to par.
Nick and FE staff, we loved your venue, and more importantly YOU who
ran it, Fallen Eyes Rock 'n' Roll Venue will sorely be missed. Ohio's
scene now has a hole in it's heart.

I'd just like to wish everyone a super happy Thanksgiving.. I'm
so thankful for the the bond my band has together, I've never been in a
band that's felt as much like family as this one. I'm also
thankful for all the kids who support us, dance, and some of the
FREAKING GREAT bands we've been getting to play with lately!
Here's a few more random things I'm thankful for, fucked up dreams, Pig
Destroyer, the fun time I had at last night's show, and pretty girls to
write songs about. Take care of eachother, hope you didn't eat
too much.
